My son had given me an illegal copy of WXP Pro sometime back. I used it
until I got my legal copy of WXP Home. I last night "wacked" it and some
other other stuff kinda cleaning-up things. This morning, no Outlook.

What do I do? I have lots of receipts on there from ebay purchases and I,
of course, have lost my net config set up to receive mail?

Can anybody suggest anything-- the files are still in the front oF EXPLORE
when you explore EXPLORE thru my computer>explore at the front of folder,
titled "uninstalled something or sther.

Thanx, Chuck

Chuck,
Did you Back-Up the OUTLOOK message file, I believe it would be a *.PST file (for messages & address book), before installing XP Home? If you were using an older version of OUTLOOK97, it may have used a *.PAB file for the address book). If you did, you will need to install a LEGAL copy of OUTLOOK, or MS OFFICE, that contains OUTLOOK. And import the *.PST (&*.PAB if needed) file into that application.

If you do not have a back-up this file(s), then I think you are out of luck.
