Folks:

Is there a way to remove the Windoes Hotfix entries from the
Add/Remove Programs control panel and have the backups deleted from the
hard drive *while leaving the hotfixes installed*?

It appears to me that the Window Hotfix entries in Add/Remove
Programs exist so that I can uninstall them. In other words, they're
backups. I'm at the point where I don't need these backups any longer
and I want to free up the disk space they're consuming.

How can I do this?

I know that I can delete the backup directories from my C:\WINDOWS
directory but that leaves the entries in Add/Remove Programs as
orphans. I want to delete both the directories and the Add/Remove
Program entries.
