I am running Windows 2000 Pro, all the latest updates

Problem: I installed a Lexmark Z65n printer attached via USB so I could set
the IP address from the default. Once that was completed I disconnected the
printer from the USB and tried to attach to the printer via the IP address.
The printer via IP address was installed and shows Ready, but when I try to
print to it the printer trays "click", then nothing. I also have another
Win2K PC connected to it and it prints fine. I have uninstalled the
printer/software and reinstalled it several times and still no luck.

I need, think, to remove Lexmark USB entries from my regestry and reinstall
it. The problem is I I get for the below keys. I am logged on as the
Administrator while doing this. ANy suggesgtions would be appricated.

Cannot delete "registry name": Error while deleting key.

They are in
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/System/ControlSet001/Enum/USB/Vid_403d&Pid_001a/13D006000

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/System/ControlSet002/Enum/USBPRINT/LexmarkLexmark_Z65

Thank You

Use regedt32.exe and change the key permissions. You have to edit
CurrentControlSet only.
