remove the day indicator from traybar

does anybody know how to remove the day indicator from
traybar. it is placed below the clock.
cheerz in advance..
 
the taskbar was unlocked & is one 'bar' high, so if u
have any other suggestion...

cheerz anyway
 
it is on the bottom & the taskbar is dragged to its
minimum height. just cant get remove the day indicator...

If it was one bar high, you wouldn't see the day - you only see that if it's
TWO bars high. There is no way it can only be one bar high, or you wouldn't
have asked your question.

Perhaps he is using a third party theme that makes the day appear. That's
what I've got on mine right now.
