Office 97 (Word 97)
created a page using text box, entered text in box.. Is it now possible to
remove the 4 lines making up the text box without disturbing the text??

If so HOW PLEASE..

thanks Jack

Hi Jack,

It's been a while since I used Word 97, but I think if you just right
click on one of the lines you will bring up a menu.

One of the options will be Format Text Box (it might have been called
Text Box Properties in 97).

Select that and then select COlours and Line tab. You should see a
drop down list for colour. If you select that, one option is no line.

Hope that helps.

Cheers
Mike

On the Format menu, click Text Box. Click the Colors and Lines tab. In
the "Line" section, choose "No line" for "Color." Click OK.

Mike and Stefan have told you how to get rid of the text box border. Note,
however, that ordinarily you don't need a text box on the page; you just
type on the page.
