I "sent" a message with a rather large attachment that is stuck in the
outbound box. Because Outlook has started sending, it will not let me stop,
delete, cancel the process. I have terminated the program, rebooted, and it
is still being seen as "in progress".

How do I get this out of the que?

Is this acting as an SMTP or Exchange account ?
If exchange, can you get into OWA and delete it from there ?

If smtp, whilst not really the best way to do it and I am sure people
out there have a better idea, find the PST file, move it.
Let Outlook compain and build a new PST file. Open the old one up,
remove the outgoing email in the PST. close outlook and swap the PST
files back.

Thanks and good luck

Thanks, Michael. It actually finally "removed" itself late last night. I
was hoping to avoid the whole .pst moving hassle, as I am on a smtp server.

Appreciate your quick response!

Best,

Sandi
