how to i remove the spaces between numbers within a cell?

1 2 3 4 change to 1234

thankyou for everyone help

Select the cell
Choose Edit>Replace
In the 'Find What' box, type a space
Leave the 'Replace With' box empty
Click 'Replace All'
Click OK to confirm the replacement
Click Close

Be careful with this one <vbg>.

If you only have one cell selected and you only wanted to change that one cell,
the edit|replace will work against the whole worksheet.

ctrl-click on another cell (empty or with no spaces) and then do it and it'll
work.

Thanks! Excellent advice.

I'll have to check the real estate prices here.

Did you click "Replace" or "ReplaceAll" ?

"Replace" just works on the *one* selected cell for me.
"ReplaceAll" does do the *entire* sheet, even though only one cell was
selected.

I followed Deb's instructions that said Replace All.

hehehe.

But I wasn't smart enough to even try the single replace.
