Remove space between numbers

Hi all

I have an annoying problem :( I'm using Outlook 2002 and I am syncronising e-mail, contacts and so on with a Smartphone. When I type a telephone-, fax- or mobile-number in Outlook it automatically enters a space between every two numbers. "39965432" becomes "39 39 54 32" (underlined even). That it looks like this is not a problem, but when I synchronise with my smartphone, and the phonenumber has all those spaces in, it can not recognise the caller. And THAT's irritating.
I have tried to remove the spaces manually in Outlook, but they come back immediately. On the other hand, if I remove the in my smartphone they also disappear in Outlook.

Is there a way to solve this, so Outlook does not add those spaces?

Hope someone can help :)

Try to prefix with a comma. This is interpreted by OL as
a pause.

Hi Mason

That helps, but looks terrible. I mean, a visible comma before every single phonenumber. There must be another way.
