R R. C. White Oct 1, 2003 #2 Hi, Charlie. We don't need FDISK anymore. Now we have a much better tool for this: Disk Management. At the Run prompt, type: diskmgmt.msc Disk Management creates partitions, deletes them, formats them - and assigns drive letters. Check out the Help file from Disk Management. RC
