I used to know where to go to remove programs from
"Startup" so that
the initial start up didn't take so long, but for
the life of me I can't find
the folder now.

Thanks

Katherine

Go to start- then run- when the window appears type in
msconfig It will show you what's running in the
background under startup. Just unclick what you don't
want running and your computer will reboot. after reboot
just click don't show me this window again so your
configuration window doesn't pop up every time you reboot

Thanks
