Mr. Vista

If anyone actually 'maintains' this group, please remove/re-date the 2 posts
currently dated for February 2007, otherwise they will stay at the top of
the time sorted list for months.

Select the post and hit the Delete key on the keyboard.

Woah there - enough of the techie mumbo-jumbo...

Can you please provide explicit instructions on how to use the Delete key...

;-)

He did but somebody removed it...

You can also use CTRL-D if pressing the delete key is too complex. Or Edit
| Delete for the mousers.

Too bad they didn't think it was important to have a delete option in the
context menu, huh?

You can also right click the toolbar, select Customize, and add a delete
button to your toolbar. If you do, use it carefully; it will delete the
newsgroup as well.

The good thing is, though, that it keeps the messages, including your
watched messages, so if you accidentally delete the group instead of a
message, just re-subscribe and your messages will show up again. Obviously
from the voice of experience here. :)

I usually just filter the messages between read and unread and don't bother
to do any deletions.
