WinXP

I use the following to create a phantom drive letter on my c drive so that
my client applications (Front End/Back End Access databases) will function as
though they were connected to the client's actual server. This line is used
in the properties line of a shortcut.

%windir%\system32\subst.exe p: c:\

The only way I know how to get rid of this is to reboot my computer. I
figure there has to be a command to reverse this - anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!

Right click My Computer, select Manage,
Select Disk Management,
Go to full screen to see all the drives,
Right click the drive to be deleted and select delete.

Thanks. I just found on the Microsofot Windows website the product
description for subst.exe. Therein is a switch you can use to delete the
drive, so I just created another shortcut for that purpose.

Create: subst.exe z: c:\MyFolder
Delete: subst.exe z: /d
