For security reasons I wish to remove Outlook Express from my Windows XP,
how do Ido this?

Also I would like to prevent cookie file records being kept on the computer itself, drive C.

I did a search by DATE of all files and found that I CANNOT remove file titles which include
both cookies and names of personal files, word text files.
For example I did a date search for the most recent week and found about 100 files, many
had the titles of personal files, though no content, but I could not delete the titles.
Similar problem with cookies.

Outlook Express is not designed to be removed from
Windows XP.....just don't use it. You can go into
Add/Remove Windows Components and uninstall all
desktop and start menu shortcuts to it.

You can use System Mechanic (www.iolo.com) to
accomplish your second goal. Once it is installed,
click on "Internet", then "Ensure your privacy".
