At our educational institute we have Windows desktops running over a
Netware network. In Windows Explorer students are able to drill down
"My Network Places" and see all of our Novell server and volume names.
While they can not see the contents (due to Netware access rights) I am
still concerned that if they can see the server names they may be
tempted to poke around.
I would like to remove the "Novell Connections" icon from "My Network
Places" in Explorer. I know I can add a registry setting to remove "My
Network Places" altogether, but we do need access to some internal
network shares.
Any information on how to do this would be appreciated, thanks!
