Hi !
How do I remove items from the start-up menu.

eg.
start/run/msconfig startup

I have a lot of them that are not in use ( not X'ed )
They are just taking up space.
Been going through " Windows Startup Online Repository " and have 16 items
that I would like to remove.

ThankX
Mike

Entries you have disabled with MSCONFIG.EXE are found in the Registry
keys
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shared Tools\MSConfig\services
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shared
Tools\MSConfig\startupfolder
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\shared Tools\MSConfig\startupreg

Mike i've come across this link. I don't know whether it will work as all my
programs in msconfig are operational so my msconfig details in the regedit
are empty. Take a look at it and see if it does what it say's it will do.
But please Remember to backup the registry before making any alterations.
