Hi, I have WindowsXp on my system and would like to use Modzilla. Mt question
is, can I remove IE 6.0 from my system and if I can, how do I remove IE6.0?
Thank you, Bob

Hi,

It's not really necessary to remove Internet Explorer from your computer if
you wish to install Mozilla.

During installation, you can configure Mozilla as your default browser, or
set it as your default though the preference panel. It's not really necessary to
uninstall IE.

However, should you wish to uninstall Internet Explorer, you may find the
following page of use:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/293907/EN-US/

Best regards,

Altrus

Bob,

As you've learnt already, there is no safe way to remove IE from XP. Removing IE from XP using a third-party tool, might cause instability to XP as it's core component. If you want to use Mozilla, just make it the default browser.
