Hi all,

so SP2 was fine, except that it slowed my cable internet connection
down, so on advice I got from here, I've used the add/remove programs to
remove SP2. Now I'm wondering if i can delete the hidden folders in the
Windows folder from what I believe is the uninstall. they're called:
$NtUninstallKB821253$, @NtUninstallKB822603$, etc. there are 41.5 MB's of
space in them on disk.

delete? or will windows eventually erase them on its own?

thanks

Those are not from SP2. They are the folders needed to uninstall those
specific pre-SP2 fixes - look up at
http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=kb;en-us;821253 etc
If you are sure you will not need to uninstall one you can delete the
folder
