Hi
Wonder if someone can help please?. We have several shared network
printers which are published in AD. Problem is that the printers are
showing up TWICE in AD. i.e. when a network user searches for a
printer then they see two instances of \\server\printer1 etc. Pruning
hasn't removed the duplicate entry.
Our print server was rebuilt after a failure a while back. During the
reinstall printers were re-added and shared in AD. I believe this is
the root of the problem.
Question is, how do I (a) identify (b) remove, the "dead" printers?
It's not a huge problem, just be nice to clean up our AD listed network
printers.
Many thanks
