I have a client with two seperate domains in the same
office. They are both Win2K Servers. They are attached
(lan) and both trusting each other. The second domain (we
can call B)is owned sepratly from the company I work for,
and a month ago they replaced their Server. Now they cant
print to the Main Office Domainb (A) Printers, and I cant
remove thier domain from AD domains and trust! Is this
becuase they didnt break the trust before replacing the
server, and the server A dosent recognize the SID of the
new server B?
Please help... Thank you very much!!!!!!

Todd,

Try the following steps and see if this removes the trust:

1. Open Active Directory Users and Computers.

2. Select Advanced Features on the View menu. This will show additional containers

including the System container.

3. Open the System container

4. With the System container highlighted on the left, locate the trust you want to

delete on the right hand side of the screen. It will have a type of "Trusted Domain."

5. Select the trust and delete it.

Once this has been done, you should no longer see the old trust in AD Domains and Trusts.
