My Word documents are printing with a date/time stamp at the bottom of each page.

I can't find a command to turn this off, either in the printer dialog boxes or in Word itself.

How can I turn this off so my letters don't end up with something like "Fri. 12 Dec 2003 1:50:09" in the bottom margin???

Thanks.

It's probable that there is a date/time stamp "field code" in the
footer. Open the footer view, and delete it.

1. View | Header and Footer.

2. On the Header and Footer toolbar, click the Switch Between Header and
Footer button.

3. Select the unwanted text (which is a field) and delete it.
