remove bad email addresses

When I type the beginning of a particular email address in
the To field of an Outlook email, Outlook displays two em
addresses which match: one is correct and one has a typo
in it. I sometimes accidentally select the em address with
the typo in it. Is there some way I can remove the bad em
address so I don't keep selecting it?

Thanks!
Janis

I believe the way you can remove the address in question
is to start typing the name, just like you always do.
When both addresses pop up, use the arrow keys to
highlight the one you want to get rid of, then hit your
delete key.
That should remove the address from that cache.

You go into your address book and find the name of the
you need to adjust and when you find the bad email
address, double click and go up to the X (delete key) and
it will delete it.

I looked and the name isn't in the address book.

I think the name is in the AutoComplete cache. Per Bob
C.'s suggestion, I used the arrow key to highlight the
offending address, then used the delete key to get rid of
it. Thanks!

That worked! Thanks!
