Hi -

I have a range of general text cells that has an asterisk before the name ["
*johns " ]. I would normally use search and replace to get rid of unwanted
characters, but the asterisk is acting like a wildcard in the search dialog
box. any idea how to get rid of them?

thank you

Alan
