remove an illegal program

In Control Panel / Add or Remove Programs, I found an
illegal program called "Yahoo! Internet Mail" which I
cannot remove. When I click on the Change/Remove button,
nothing happens and the program is still there. Is there
another way for me to remove this? I suspect that this
software is monitoring my email.

Yahoo Internet Mail is one of the "Yahoo Essentials" There are uninstall
directions on this page:
