Hi all.

Is there a way to remove the address bar within IE via the registry but
without using IEAK? Thanks. Any help is much appreciated.

Hi,
See: 823057 - The restrictions that are available to Internet Explorer 6.0
SP1:
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=823057

To restrict all users:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\Toolbars\Restrictions
Create the DWORD value NoAddressBar and give it a value of 1 (one)

Hope this helps,
Don

To disable the Address Bar from being shown, set the NoAddressBar value to 1
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbars\Restrictions

To prevent the user from enabling the Address bar, set NoBandCustomize value to 1
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
