when you click on view/explorer bar/search, the screen is
split in two and a search section shows on the left side
of the screen. someone at http:www.free-popup-killer.com
removed my original search engine and insterted a new
search engine http://www.7search.com. I can not remove it
even if I reset the search engine secton to customize it.

Please avoid dealing with these two sites. They are some
kind of suspecious.

Can you tell me how I can remove their search engine and
get my original search engine back.

Thank you.

Have you run Ad-Aware and SpyBot Search and Destroy with their latest
updates/

Looks like a case for HijackThis.

Randy,
Did you install their pop-up killer?
If so then you agreed to their "Terms and Conditions" = hijacks your browser
You should be able to uninstall via Add Remove.
