Removal Problems

Does anyone know how I can manually remove items from Add and Remove under
Control Panel? When I try to remove PCSurgeon, absolutely nothing happens.
When I try to remove PC MightyMax V1, I get the following message: "Could
not open Install.Log file"

Any assistance you can provide, I'd be extremely grateful.

Thanks

Ricky

Look for the programs file and delete it. (the entire file). You may have to
then, edit the registry to delete the name from the add/delete list.

Hey Ricky ... You might of deleted the program
elsewhere " explorer program files "or the program is in
use and if so then you need to close the program before
you are able to remove it ... Any ways here a nice little
program which i use for add and remove programs , it does
a great job of getting rid of those programs that don't
like to be remove , Here the link below , remember choose
the add and remove one ...

I installed your program but it won't uninstall the program which I believe
may be causing all the problems. The Ad-aware SE personal program.

Any further advice, please?

The Ad-Aware SE is probably NOT causing the problem, but should be
easily uninstalled by Going to Start, Programs, Ad-Aware, Uninstall.....

Consulting with some colleagues at my place of work, I accept it may not be
Ad-aware program which is the problem. For whatever reason, I may have
problems with my register on some of my programs. Some of the programs I
would like to uninstall can't now uninstall because XP can't find an
install.log for them.

That is probably what I need to address, if anyone out there has any
suggestions, please.

If the uninstall information is hosed, you can't use it to uninstall.
The "safe" method is to "reinstall" the application, (to put all the
info back) and THEN use the uninstall to remove it.
