Go toosl>internet options>clear history in IE.

Or more completely, delete all the temporary internet files as well.

I'm sending this little cleaner url to my husband......I've been wondering
for some time how to remove searches from the search bar and this seems like
it might do it. Maybe I shouldn't send it to my husband.
