I run Win 2K Pro on one hard drive & Vista Ult. on another. If I run the
%temp% command in Vista I can free up extra "leftover" files & the space they
take up. If I run the %temp% command in Win 2K will I remove essential
files? Some seem to be extremely large and I am thinking if I delete them, I
might disable all my apps and other installations. Disk CleanUp utility in
both Win 2K Pro and Vista leave the files listed by running the %temp%
command unremoved but the space shown for these residual files in Vista is
small (each under 1/4MB, whereas some Win 2K Pro files show dozens of MB
each--so I am wondering if these are NEEDED and the
%temp% command should NOT be run in Win 2K Pro.
