My son saved a photo that he saw on the web as a desktop item. What he did
is right click on the image and then he chose "set as destop item...". The
image is now on the desktop and I have tried everything in my power to remove
it ..without any success. Does anyone have a clue as to where this image is
hiding... and how do I find it and remove it.
Your help is appreciated

Go to the Display applet in Control Panel and look on the Desktop tab.
Click on Customize Desktop, and then click on the Web tab. You will see
that there are checkmarks next to "My Current Home Page" and probably
"Lock Desktop Items". Uncheck these, Apply and OK out. Go back to the
Desktop tab and see if you can change the picture now.

Get to your desktop. In the center, without selecting any icon or anything,
right click your mouse. Scroll down to the bottom of the choices and click
properties. You will get a dialog box that will let you click on tabs such as
screensaver, wallpaper, etc. You should be able to choose different
background/wallpaper from a list of stuff. I sure hope this helps!

First of all that's NOT removing the image, like the OP wants to do - it
will still be on the HDD and secondly, this is NOT a chat room, please use
CONVENTIONAL English and not "SMS speak"

Thank you.
