I have been having problems since I first installed Roxio 6. My OS is
Windows XP Pro.

The 6.2 version has not improved performance and I am concerned at the
number of crashes my PC suffers.

Consequently I will be compelled to change to another system, which will be
compatible with my CDs formatted and burned on Roxio.

Can someone please tell me how to COMPLETELY remove ALL traces of Roxio from
my PC, since I am advised the Add/Remove route will not do the job 100%.

Thank you in anticipation

Janus

There are some third party tools that can sniff out the deadwood. You
can use regedit, export a backup copy of the registry with all keys,
then starting at the top do a search and destroy for any word
association dealing with the offending software. If you have no other
Roxio products, search for that and delete the entry that is found.
search the version number or whatever. This should take care of your
problems

Hi Chris,

Unfortunately that web does not cater for the CD & DVD Creator 6 Platinum.

Thank you anyway,

Janus

Hi Wanderer,

I did not have any problems with 5 Platinum either, that is why I upgraded
to 6, thinking I was getting a relible product again.
