removal of aol now can't connect IE

After removal of AOL and it's version of IE6, everytime I
try to setup connection then access internet get message
about AOL ie6 and can't connect to internet? Is this a
winsock problem? Can anyone help?

AOL doesn't bundle IE6. What version of AOL were you using? What's the exact
text of the error message? How are you trying to access the Internet now?
