I want to be able to acess and control database on my
office network from my home computer. Is this possible and
how do you do it?

In short, it is possible, but how you go about it will
depend on many things: How your office network is set up,
permissions, routers etc. You may be able to set up a vpn
to your office and use remote desktop/terminal services
(depending on your network hardware/operating systems)or
you may be able to install a remote control program on
both the database computer and you own machine (e.g VNC)

You would need to speak to whoever controls your network
(if anyone) or give precise details of the setup if you
want advice to be able to do it yourself.
