After installation of

- Windows XP
- a new Modem 'devolo Microlink 56k fun USB'
- and an internetconnection via AON
- (nothing else installed)

on a friends PC an error occurs when approx. 5 minutes online via Internet Explorer:

.... Remoteprozeduraufruf (RPC) wurde unerwartet beendet ...

The error message suggests to close all aplications and reboots the PC after some time. There is no alternative!

Is there a specialist who can help us ?
