Is there any program to query a computer remotely via PCAnywhere that will
tell you how many ram slots (used and empty) and how many bus slots (used
and empty, PCI or ISA) are on a motherboard? The system in question is
running Windows Server 2000.

I don't think the OS can do it, so maybe some 3rd party utility?

Thanks!
Bob

Hay Bob have you tryed looking in the BIOS?Should be
able to access by REPETEDLY pumping the F1 key at start-
up till the bios screen appears. Then using your
up.down,side2side arrows move thru it should come up with
how many banks for installed memory and tell you the size
in the slot, like my phenix bios,Installed memory bank 0
256mb sdram,bank 1 256mb sdram of pc/100,means it has 2
banks for ram 0 is first 256mb pc\100,1 is second with
the same if its blank means that slot is M-T.so if you
have 0,1,2,3 and 0 has 1 gig and 1 has 512mb of pc/2100
you have a gig and a half of ram and the other 2 are m-
t.Under advance tab you'll find the bus settings.
