Hi there,

I'd like to accomplish the following scenario:

- pc1 is located in the waiting room
- pc2 is in the office

Is there any way I can remotely tell pc1 to run a program like a screensave
or a powerpoint presentation or a videofile? I want to show clients
different things on pc1 while they are waiting in the waiting room (while I
sit in my office)...

I understand that Microsofts rcmd (Windows 2000 Resource Pack) can provide
running batch files, but can it do what I need here?

Thanks for advice...

If the PC in the waiting room is running XP then you might look at the free
Shared Computer Toolkit to lock down the PC and prevent customers from
changing whatever is running on it. Then you could setup a Power Point
presentation or other presentation to simply loop.
