Remote Wonder 1.4

I had to format a HDD and load XP PRO and all my programs. I loaded
the ATI software for a AIW 8500DV display adapter and MMC 7.7 with
remote wonder 1.4. The remote works except for the audio controls.
Nothing happens when I push the mute key or sound up/down buttons.
The audio card is a Soundblaster Live MP3+ with the latest drivers
installed. Any ideas on how to get the sound controls enabled on the
remote? TIA

I just discovered that if I open the play control (double click the
speaker icon in the system tray) and leave it open on the monitor that
the mute/sound up+down works on the Remote. Any ideas???
