I'm new to vpn and would like to know the following situation.

If using netscreen-remote vpn diapup connecting through netscreen 25
firewall to windows domain network, can I make the remote user to logon the
windows domain network. Like local lan users in the company, they will have
the mapping network drive to local servers resources. So that a remote
mobile user can obtain the department SHARE <folder> files from anywhere.

Is my concept wrong. Pls advise. Thanks much.

You can do that. However, you don't need to do that to access the remote LAN resources. What you need to do is logging on the same domain username from the VPN client.

Thx for yr reply. If can do so, then I should setup and join that remote computer to the local domain first before remote access?

It doesn't matter, but join domain over VPN may take longer time.
