We are running a w2k server with DNS and Active directory. I set up a group
policy at the domain level in AD users and groups for a script to run when
users log into the domain. The script is for drive mappings. It works fine
for local users, but the GP doesn't seem to run for the remote users. We
have a T1 line for Internet access for the local users, and DSL for Internet
access for the remotes. We use a VPN over the Internet for the remotes to
connect to our network. Is there something we need to configure in GP or DNS
for the remotes to be able to run the GP?

Well, most likely your users are using cached credentials
when they logon remotely. So, it's not really possible to
run a script on logon through VPN since they are already
logged on.

You'll probably have to train your users to start a batch
file upon connection, or have your connection software
execute it after connecting if it supports that.
