Sam

I need help with tring to share an application with my
contact using MSN Messenger 6. I would like somebody to
give me step by step instructions on how to accomplish
this. I've tried and tried and have not been able to get
this to work. Both my contact and myself are running
Windows XP. Firewall is disabled as well. Need help.

Hi Sam

My understanding is that you must have the application running on the
desktop,
before you start application sharing and the other person must have the same
application in stalled on there computer
Jonathan will you corrcet me if i am wrong

Hi Lucky One,

*raises hand* =) You don't need the application at all -- Application Sharing basically (in
very non-technical terms) sends "pictures" of what you're working on to your contact, so they
can see/interact with it. All you need on the contacts' side is Windows XP (or use the
Application Sharing feature in Netmeeting for previous Windows versions).
