Remote Procedure Call

I receive an error message "Remote Procedure Call
(RPC)....." This happens about 1 minute after a dial up
connection. I am on XP. I serached Microsoft Help. I see
a few patched but nothing that looks like they will fix
the problem. Any ideas?

If your XP shuts down by it you probably have the Poza or
Blaster worm. Run a search for I think for msblast.exe if
it's there you have Blaster - go to symantec or ca.com and
look up Poza or Blaster worm for removal instructions.

Always search the group for your topic, which could save you and others
wasted time.

In this case "rpc" or "remote" brings up literally dozens of hits on how
to eradicate this worm. Or visit http://google.com and search for "blaster".
