Your system is infected by RPC (W32.Blaster) Worm. This is causing the system to shutdown abnormally.

Oh help yourself for Hades sake! This question was asked sixteen times in
the past 36 hours! http://groups.google.com. It would have taken you less
time to search than it did to post!

could you be a reincarnation of Perdita X? I only hope not. You are just as
ignorant as she was.

Its only me said:

Not ignorant, just getting very frustrated at the complete inability of a
large number people to do ANY sort of searching before asking a question
that is almost as frequent as "OE denies access to the following unsafe
attachment". Besides, the blaster worm was WELL publicised in the press and
on TV.

That maybe so, but the name of the newsgroup is, after all,
Microsoft.public.windowsxp.NEWUSERS. Not every new user is computer
literate. This newsgroup has helped me a lot since I upgraded to XP. If
Epona has nothing constructive to say, why doesn't he/she just keep his/her
mouth shut and fingers off the keyboard?

Exactly, RM. If the OP had bothered to scroll down a half-dozen posts or so
they'd have found their answer. Judging by the posts, you'd have thought
that the majority of posters had beamed down from an alternate universe - or
they'd been living in the world's deepest cave system (I forget where that
is now, I used to know) for the past year. This group should be the /last/,
not the first resort, for use when all other avenues have been exhausted.

To 'it's only me' - suggest you look up the word 'ignorant' in the
dictionary - I think you'll find that it's a more apt description of you,
TBH.

None other than Perdita, just a new name. Speak of the deviless and she will
appear and just as big a jackass as before. Always the lessons on spelling,
grammar, and proper posting and nothing about computers.

It (epona) makes me want to PUKE!
