Since my laptop has put onto a broadband connection it
keeps closing down with the error message. "Remote
Procedure Call has lost connection shutting down in 40
seconds". Can anyone please please help!!!!!

patch for the problem can be found there.
After you have applied the patch and rebooted, please install all the
critical updates that you can find from the Windows update site.
