Does anyone know if there is free software that i can use to help people remotely.

I have found some but not the one where client don't have to install anything. I don't want client to download and install software. As you all know they get suspecious if i have them download anything.

It is called VNC.

Stands for Virtual Network Computing.

One end would act like a server the other end acts as the Client. The server can take full control of the client.
It used a RFB protocol known as a remote frame buffer.

I have used it remotely to use my pc and it works wonders.

or

tight vnc is a little easier to use

good luck

There is also a good alterative to VNC I have been using this program for years its called Remote Administrator 2.1/2.2 there is a newer version with more features but i wouldnt suggest it, older versions are small and they don't buffer as much

Also it would be a good idea to get it off bitorrent since the older versions are rare, i tried googling and all i could find is a client for 2.1

cheers

I've tried VNC and Microsoft Remote Assistance. Personally I prefer Microsoft (I so don't like to admit that) but it's a lot more relaible. We use it overseas and it's more responsive.
