Hello All,
Here is the situation. I have our network here that is behind a VPN/Firewall
Appliance. That VPN acts as a DHCP gateway and assigns IP addresses to all
on the network. I have a new remote user that has his own machine but he too
is behind a VPN that assigns an IP address to his machine.
We have established a VPN tunnel from his VPN to ours but my question is:
How do I get him to be able to log into the network as if he were directly
on it. He has good login credentials (user/pass) and his machine had
actually been joined to this domain before he left.
I imagine the problem is that his internal (private) IP is different than
the one on our network so it is not letting him log in to the domain and
have access to the domain resources.
Is there a way to have the Windows 2000 server alllow that machine or IP to
log into the domain? Any help would be greatly appreciated, and thank you in
advance.
