remote log in and remove software

Hello,
As a parent I wanted to see activities such as chatting or visiting adult
(dirty) sites for viruses downloaded without his knowledge. It is not that I
don't trust my son but I want to him to be safe.
I have two questions. 1) I was not able to use remote desctop connections
and 2) I downloaded a program called Parent-PC but I did not find it helpfull
and I tryied to un-install it. I went to control pannel => add remove but it
was not listed, I did all kind of search in my drive.... I looked into
registry it was not found Please help me to remove it.

XP Home or Pro?
Have you contacted the makers of the appllication in question?
