Using Frontpage 2003 SP2. Noticed today that I was running out of disk on my
web site. I check and found almost 40 MB of files on my web site that are not
on my local disk. When I publish I always choose to delete files on my web
site that are not on my local disk. However it appears that files are not
being removed. Any ideas why?

Thanks for the help

This can happen if you publish "changed pages only."

thanks,

should I use the all files overwright files already on destination every
time or only when this problem appears? Will it erase all file not on my
local site? Thanks for your time. Have a great thanksgiving.

If the site has FrontPage extensions:
Open the remote site and recalculate hyperlinks.
Close the remote site, open your local site and recalculate hyperlinks.

Then do a full "local to remote" publish.

The local and remote websites do occasionaly go out of synch, when
this happens FP loses track of files that are not on both sites.
A fast way to determine exactly which files are on the remote site and
not on the local, is to go into Remote Site view, then change the View
dropdown (below the Web Site tab at the top of the window) to "Files
in Conflict". This will display all files in Conflict, as well as all
unmatched files on the remote server.
If you change the publish direction to Remote to Local, then the
unmatched files that are on the Local site will be displayed.
The files can be deleted from this view.
