My home pc is connected to a broaddband router with private IP. (NATed

What IP I should use to connect to the Home PC

Is there any detail step by step instruction

Thanks,

If the home PC is running XP Pro then you can use Remote Desktop...

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/expertzone/focuson/remotedesktop.asp

In that case forward TCP Port 3389 through the router to the LAN IP of your desktop. Call using the
public IP, ie. the IP assigned by your ISP, of the router.

If the home PC is *NOT* running XP Pro then look at UltraVNC as an alternative. Download the server,
client and encryption plug-in from...

http://ultravnc.sourceforge.net/
http://home.comcast.net/~msrc4plugin/

In that case forward TCP Port 5900 through the router to the LAN IP of your desktop.
