Trying to connect from the W98SE box to the XP box, which I hope is an XP Pro box, correct?
What error messages do you get, if any?
Are you calling using the correct IP?
Is this over a LAN or the public internet?
If it over the internet do you have any firewall/NAT/routers between the PC and the internet? If so
is TCP Port 3389 forwarded?
Normally you can *NOT* browse for other PCs if your in a workgroup environment. Is that the case? If
so, you can try this registry hack on the XP Pro box to allow this. Reboot each PC once the change
to the registry has been made. Personally, I don't know if you can browse on the W98SE box after you
do this or not...
