Remote Desktop

Although I and my mates do have the latest version of MSN Messenger ( 6.2 )
, the "Remote Desktop" option does not work. It just prints out a message
saying update to the latest version. I also had this with 6.1. It´s the
same with whiteboard.
I have the Home version of XP .

I assume you mean Remote Assistance? Actually what the error is really indicating is that
you need the latest version of *Windows Messenger*, which you may have disabled or
uninstalled. Remote Assistance requires Windows Messenger and MSN Messenger's Remote
Assistance option will not work without it (the same goes for Whiteboard). You can find the
latest Windows Messenger 4.x here:
