I have a desktop and a laptop. I also have WRT54G linksys router. Both
of these computer are behind this router and connected wirelessly. I
am trying to use remote desktop from my laptop to go to desktop. It is
not working.

When I type desktop computer name or IP address in my laptop's remote
desktop windos it gives me an error that computer not found.

Can anyone please help.

Regards
Sonu.

Have you enabled Remote Desktop on the desktop PC? Have you made a windows
firewall exception for Remote Desktop on the desktop PC?

You know what!

I thought I did but when I checked it the remote desktop was not
enable.
Once I fixed this on my desktop it is working fine.

Thanks.
